Writing Topic: Rules for Writers chapter 2

I can see why we are reading this chapter this week. The chapter is about writing a thesis, conclusion, introduction. These parts of a paper are probably the hardest parts to write for people. The chapter really shows ways to revise a thesis for short and long papers. Before now never thought a thesis could be different depending on the length of the paper. While writing the introduction and conclusion are troublesome in the chapter shows ways to reduce this.
As for me the hardest part of a paper is getting started. This writer's block has been slightly removed with freewriting but not all the way. After reading there was one paragraph that stood out the most. Four paragraphs into the chapter it talks about writer's block and having your introduction as perfect as possible before moving on. This happens to me all the time and I know my introductions are not perfect but I know that I half to have the best intro I can write before moving on. I also know that this maybe a stalling technique that I have developed and can't seem to get rid of it. Now I know that I can write my paper without a intro and go back to it later. Which will be hard knowing that all my school years you have to write a intro before you can move on with your paper or you would lose out on points.
